AESEMI
Founded in late 2021, AESEMI – Asociación Española de la Industria de Semiconductores – is the national organization representing Spain’s semiconductor ecosystem. The association brings together manufacturers, design houses, equipment and material suppliers, service providers, universities, research centers, public institutions, and innovative start-ups from across the country.
AESEMI focuses on present and future technological trends such as neuromorphic computing, advanced manufacturing, integrated photonics, quantum technologies, os RISC V. Acting as a high-profile platform for information, collaboration, and advocacy, the association fosters national and international networking through the organization and participation in industry events, working groups, and strategic projects.
Through its commissions and working groups, AESEMI addresses key challenges including talent development, industrial policy, financing, and technology adoption, supporting Spain’s integration into the global semiconductor value chain. The association is also the organizer of Chipnation, Spain’s leading semiconductor congress, which brings together industry, academia, and policymakers to shape the future of the sector.
