SIMPRINT Project Results: Testing and Final Benefits

Successful Testing of the SIMPRINT Robot: A Breakthrough in Autonomous Printing Systems

This project has been coordinated by ARTI - Autonomous Robot Technology GmbH as the technology provider of AI robotic, software and platform working in collaboration with Pixelrunner as the industrial end-user of large-scale printing. The project has been monitored by Silicon Alps.

Throughout the course of this recent project, continuous testing played a critical role in ensuring the success of the SIMPRINT robot. These tests spanned multiple stages, beginning with individual evaluations of the hardware, software, and the visualisation tool. As development progressed, the overall system underwent rigorous testing in various environments, assessing its performance under real-world conditions.

System Performance and Stability

The initial tests focused on the driving dynamics of the robot, followed by both initial and final printing evaluations. The results were highly satisfactory, with the SIMPRINT achieving a printing speed of around 4 km/h, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The system was found to be stable and straightforward to operate, proving the effectiveness of the innovative design.

Advantages of the SIMPRINT Robot

One of the key benefits of the SIMPRINT system is its simple yet powerful hardware concept, which has been enhanced with complex autonomous software capabilities. These advanced features are complemented by the robot’s smaller dimensions and reduced weight, making it significantly easier to transport and deploy. Additionally, the SIMPRINT robot offers a cost-effective solution, being notably cheaper than existing systems on the market.

A standout feature is the web-based visualisation tool that allows users to easily operate the system, streamlining the entire process and enhancing user experience. This ease of use, combined with the robot’s versatility, opens up new possibilities for its application across various industries, beyond traditional use cases.

A Versatile and Cost-Effective Solution

With its fast deployment, ease of operation, and affordable pricing, the SIMPRINT robot stands out as a highly versatile solution, ready to tackle new challenges. The combination of simple hardware and sophisticated software ensures that this system is not only accessible but also powerful enough to meet a wide range of printing needs.

The SIMPRINT robot represents a significant step forward in autonomous printing technology, offering new opportunities for innovation and expanding its potential applications across diverse fields.
