Welcome AESEMI – New Member of Silicon Europe Alliance
Since 1 August 2025, the Spanish semiconductor association AESEMI (Asociación Española de la Industria de Semiconductores) has joined the Silicon Europe Alliance. We are delighted to welcome AESEMI as a new partner, further strengthening our joint voice for Europe’s microelectronics and digital industries.
Founded in 2021, AESEMI is the national organization representing Spain’s semiconductor ecosystem. It brings together manufacturers, design houses, equipment and material suppliers, service providers, universities, research centers, public institutions, and innovative start-ups. The association drives collaboration on present and future technology trends such as neuromorphic computing, advanced manufacturing, integrated photonics, quantum technologies, and RISC-V.
AESEMI also organizes Chipnation, Spain’s leading semiconductor congress, which connects industry, academia, and policymakers to shape the future of the sector.
Alfonso Gabarrón, General Manager of AESEMI:
“Joining Silicon Europe is not just about becoming a member of a key alliance for the future of the European semiconductor ecosystem. It is about being part of a network that connects the Spanish sector with the rest of Europe and enables participation in key initiatives together with other European clusters. This is the way to grow and to gain recognition at such a relevant moment.”
With AESEMI on board, Silicon Europe Alliance continues to grow stronger – connecting Europe’s clusters and ecosystems to shape the future of microelectronics and digital technologies.
