Celebrating 2024, a Year of Achievements: Silicon Eurocluster Project Milestones

As we reflect on the past year, the Silicon Eurocluster Project has achieved significant milestones in 2024 that highlight the power of collaboration, innovation, and dedication. These accomplishments underscore the transformative potential of microelectronics and set a strong foundation for a sustainable and resilient future. Below are the key achievements of the year:

1. Advancing Microelectronics Through Funded Projects

We completed 12 funded projects focused on microelectronics, resulting in the creation of the Project Results Catalogue. This resource showcases technological advancements and serves as a benchmark for success, inspiring further developments in the field.

2. Empowering Companies with Up-Skilling and Re-Skilling Programs

Our tailored up-skilling and re-skilling portfolio equips member companies to navigate technological advancements, enhance team skills, and re-skill workforces for emerging roles. It includes success case benchmarks and insights into cluster services.

3. Promoting Sustainable Transformation for SMEs

We guided 25 SMEs in electronics toward sustainable transformation, fostering practices aligned with a greener economy and reduced environmental impact.

4. Enhancing Resilience with a Strategic Plan

The Resilience Plan was developed to strengthen our ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of challenges, ensuring stability and innovation for stakeholders.

5. Expanding Global Reach Through Webinars

We hosted two webinars to help SMEs explore opportunities in the US and Taiwanese markets, providing practical strategies for international market success.

6. Supporting the Green Transition with Expert Guidance

A network of Green Experts was identified and compiled in the Green Experts Catalogue, offering SMEs essential support for sustainable innovation.

7. Encouraging Regional Collaboration Through Workshops

Regional workshops fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, enabling stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities in the microelectronics ecosystem.

Acknowledging the Consortium’s Contributions

These achievements were made possible by the Silicon Eurocluster Consortium, which convened in:

  • Saint-Étienne, France, for the Minalogic Business Meetings.
  • Munich, Germany, for the Semicon event.

These gatherings were instrumental in driving initiatives, fostering partnerships, and sharing strategic visions.

Looking Ahead

As we conclude this productive year, we look forward to advancing microelectronics, supporting SMEs, and promoting sustainability. We thank all contributors and participants who made this year a success. Together, we will build on these achievements to create new opportunities for growth and innovation.

See you next year!
