With a strong engineering background and extensive project management experience, Mark excels at facilitating collaborative technology development between high-tech firms in Europe and the U.S.

Having lived and worked in both Europe and the United States, Mark possesses unique, first-hand insights into the research and industry communities of both regions. He specializes in creating and enhancing university-industry collaborations, helping universities and private companies develop strategies that leverage public research for innovation and revenue generation.


As the founder of INNOconnect, Mark drives market opportunities for innovative technologies and manages cluster initiatives that foster economic growth. His corporate experience includes leading global business development, managing manufacturing operations, and overseeing product development. Mark holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of California – Davis and a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo, with additional training in project management and negotiations.
