EU-Taiwan Event on Industry of the Future
On June 26 and 27 2017, a Taiwanese delegation encouters European organizations during the EU-Taiwan Event on Industry of the Future with dedicated seminars and company pitches in Brussels. It is already the third industrial dialogue between the EU and Taiwan.
This business oriented event is a joint initiative of the European Commission, the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), the Department of Industrial Technology (DOIT) and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) of Taiwan facilitated by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the European Cluster Collaboration Platform and Silicon Europe Worldwide at the occasion of the third industrial dialogue between the EU and Taiwan.
The aim of the Event is to foster cooperation between European and Taiwanese companies, clusters and business associations by exploring possible common areas of interest for cooperation and complementarities, in terms of sectoral, value chain, and market focus.
The event builds on the success of the EU Innovation Week organised in Taipei back to back to the Industrial dialogue in June 2016 during the COMPUTEX fair in Taipei. At that occasion B2B, C2C and B2C matchmaking meetings were organised by our EEN partner TAITRA for 250 EU and Taiwanese clusters and companies.
Registration to any of the activities of the EU-Taiwan event on Industry of the future is free of charge.
AGENDA
June 26 2017
The first day concentrates on the exchange and networking of Taiwanese and European industry clusters as well as an industrial dialogue about Circular Economy.
June 27 2017
The industrial seminars on the second day are seperated in three parallel tracks: manufacturing of the future, circular economy and 5G. Attending companies can present their latest research or products as well as their organization itself during a pitch session. Moreover, there will be a B2B session with Taiwanese organizations in the afternoon.

June 28 2017
Following the Industrial Dialogue, there will be the Business Connection Forum organized by Silicon Europe Worldwide and EEN on June 28th in Brussels.
