On October 23, 2015, in the context of an official visit to Greece, the French President François Hollande had a stop at the office of the Corallia Clusters Initiative in Athens. Among others, the French cluster Minalogic accompanied Hollande’s visit. In connection with Hollande’s visit to Corallia the French cluster and the Greek mi-Cluster (Corallia Clusters Initiative) announced further strengthening their cooperation. The clusters signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about doing cross-fertilization activities, as planned within the Silicon Europe Alliance.

During a short speech after the formal signing, Isabelle Guillaume (CEO, Minalogic) re-emphasized the instrumental role of the clusters to support innovative SMEs and the interest of the Silicon Europe Alliance. Furthermore, Demetris Papailiou (mi-Cluster) organized a session with mi-Cluster entrepreneurs presenting the great innovation and high entrepreneurial energy there. The mi-Cluster joined the Silicon Europe Alliance in October 2015.
